Overview

We have different experiences and perspectives on race depending on our racial identity. This often leads to tension and conflict in cross-cultural interactions. Typical ways in which we engage in everyday conversations don’t necessarily work when talking about race or interacting across cultures. In this workshop, participants learn seven tools to guide them in having effective conversations about race, racism, and race relations, adapted from the work of Glenn Singleton.
